About Us

Following his graduation from the University of Notre Dame in 1974, Dan Berry decided that the Michiana area held many opportunities and qualities that influenced his decision to stay in the community.

Mr. Berry started his insurance career in 1977 working with the Nationwide Insurance companies. After nine (9) years he decided to broaden his insurance markets by joining an independent agency in South Bend.

In 1991, the Mishawaka entrepreneur formed his own independent agency. Mr. Berry's goal in forming his own agency was to be able to service policyholders in a more personal and professional manner. His philosophy has always been to put his clients' needs first on the priority list.

This philosophy has served him well. Since opening the agency in December of 1991, the company has grown to a nearly $12,000,000 agency and serves over 6,000 clients.

Servicing all of Indiana and Lower Michigan in addition to several out-of-state clients, the Michiana agency carries a full line of insurance coverages for both commercial and personal needs. With nearly five million in personal insurance, the agency is one of the larger personal lines agencies in the area.
